I think that because of this whole Illuminati conspiracy there's pretty much 2 types of music fans now - People who like mainstream music and hipsters who hate mainstream music but like to bang on about how much they liked something before it was mainstream (thinking that they have talent before they go mainstream, but then they 'sell their soul to the devil' and become generic mainstream pop trash)
